How VOICE participation rewards and the $VOICE token work

On VOICE, you vote on polls and earn participation rewards whether your take lands in the majority or the minority. What gets rewarded is taking part. Voting with $VOICE starts when the main app and the token launch, planned for Q4 2026, and until then you take part on SocialCamp. In the main app, the tokens you vote with stay frozen in the VOICE smart contract while the poll runs, and you don’t lose them if the majority disagrees. Rewards come from a fixed daily allocation, split 50/50 between voters and poll creators.

Why VOICE runs on a token

The token is there to give weight to participation. You use $VOICE to create polls and to vote, which keeps every action meaningful and keeps spam out, and it’s designed to be used inside the platform rather than held as a speculative asset. On token-based polls, your wallet has to hold $VOICE before you can vote or create a poll. When you vote, you decide how many tokens to put behind your take. They’re frozen in the smart contract, and the vote goes on-chain as a data point anyone can check.

We call this model OpinionFi. We reward people for showing up and taking part, whatever the outcome of the poll. The longer story is in What is OpinionFi? on our blog.

How participation rewards are calculated

There’s no published formula yet, but the main rules that decide your share are public.

Every day’s pool is split in half, 50% to voters and 50% to poll creators, so asking the question is rewarded as well as answering it. Two things move your share. One is the amount of tokens you committed to a poll. The other is consistency. Vote regularly and you build a streak, and over time a streak increases your share of the pool.

Because the daily allocation is fixed, the reward per action adjusts as more people join. That’s why there’s no fixed rate per vote and no promised amount.

What happens to your tokens if the majority disagrees?

You keep them. Your tokens stay frozen in the VOICE smart contract while the poll runs and come back to you when it closes, whichever way the vote goes. You also earn participation rewards either way.

Say you commit tokens to a poll and most voters end up disagreeing with you. Your tokens come back, and you still earn a reward. Its size depends on how much you committed and how steadily you vote, not on which side you picked. If you create polls too, you also share in the creators’ half of the daily pool.

Compare that with Polymarket, where you buy shares in an outcome. When the market resolves, each winning share pays $1 and losing shares become worthless (Polymarket docs). On VOICE, nobody on the other side of your vote pays for your reward. The full table is on our comparison page.

One thing to keep in mind: after the TGE, the price of $VOICE can move like any other token’s, and reward amounts aren’t fixed.

Taking part before the TGE

There is no official $VOICE token before the TGE, so for now the place to take part is SocialCamp. You’ll find it behind the GET CLOUT button at the top of voice.cc, or at voice.cc/socialcamp, and what you earn there is Clout, our own points.

SocialCamp groups polls into clusters. When we wrote this, Voice Pulse had 6,147 users and 11 polls, and Unpopular Opinion had 4,226 users and 20 polls. Sixteen partner projects run clusters of their own, with reward pools in USDC, SOL or NFTs.

What we have and haven’t published about $VOICE tokenomics

We have not published the full token distribution yet. Any $VOICE supply number on a third-party site is unofficial.

Our roadmap places the TGE in Q4 2026, in the phase we call Launch, together with the main application and an internal marketplace. The date is to be announced on our official channels.

Before the TGE there is no official $VOICE token. Any token with that name traded today, wherever it is listed, is not ours. The Voice token of the former EOS network, from Block.one’s closed Voice social app, is a different project. So are voice.ai and Voices.com. Our main domain is voice.cc, and voice.fun, our old address, redirects there.

When the token launches, take the contract address only from voice.cc or our official Discord. Check it character by character against any exchange or tracker page. And never share a seed phrase or private key with anyone, including someone who says they’re from VOICE.

Has the VOICE vote program been audited?

Yes. Nethermind Security reviewed the VOICE Vote System, the on-chain program behind voting, and published report NM-0998, final version August 20, 2026. The full report sits in Nethermind’s own public repository rather than on voice.cc, so anyone can read it, check the findings and dates, and make up their own mind without taking the badge on our homepage on trust.

Its scope is the on-chain vote program, the part that holds the tokens you freeze while voting. The website, SocialCamp and any code changed after the final audited version are outside it. Nor does it say anything about the price of $VOICE after launch.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still earn if my side of a poll loses?

Yes. You earn whether your take is in the majority or the minority, and you don’t lose your tokens when the majority disagrees.

Can I earn by creating polls instead of voting?

Yes. Half of each day’s reward pool goes to poll creators and half goes to voters. Creating a poll also uses $VOICE.

Why can the reward per vote change?

Rewards come from a fixed daily allocation. When more people take part, that allocation is shared among more people, so the reward per action adjusts. Your own share also depends on how many tokens you commit and on your streak.

What is the total supply of $VOICE?

We haven’t published it yet. The same goes for allocation, the release schedule and circulating supply at launch, so a supply figure you see on a tracker or a forum today didn’t come from us.

Is the VOICE smart contract safe to use?

Our vote program was reviewed by Nethermind Security, and both findings, rated Informational, were fixed before the final report. An audit lowers the risk of a code bug but doesn’t remove it.

Try SocialCamp first

SocialCamp is open now if you want to see how this feels before the TGE. Pick a cluster, vote on the polls you actually have an opinion on, and come back the next day. Anything we didn’t cover here, from surveys to how VOICE differs from Polymarket, is answered at voice.cc/faq.
